Scapegoat tells the heartbreaking story of a girl named Darci with a tumultuous past and how she manages to escape from the harsh and bitter realities of her life. Despite being a protagonist, she is an ironic character brimming with contradictions. Struggling with her horrendous childhood, she was barely able to come out of the darkness that was ripping her soul.
But God sends help in ways we never expect. Darci’s life took a turn, and she was enlightened with faith in God in her heart. As she deals with her abusive father and breaks the circle of sex trafficking, she confronts the secret of redemption, peace, and happiness.
Scapegoat explores the themes of self-love, faith, hope, distortion, darkness, desperation, abuse, and fear that lurk among us all – sometimes in solid appearances and other times in disguise.
